In designs which a pattern is repeated all over the rug in both longitudinal and transverse directions, is called repetitive (Vagireh) design. In this rug the motif of Boteh Seneh is repeated throughout the rug. Boteh is an abstract form of cypress tree and is taken from handwoven in Sanandaj region. One of the main characteristics of Boteh Seneh carpet is the red color of ronas plant which is one of the most enduring herbal colors. despite the fact that this rug is many years old, the red color has a special transparency and shine. Boteh Seneh pattern is one of the oldest patterns of Master Ali Rashtizadeh which has been created in the Rashtizadeh rug workshop in the 1950s and is one of the valuable museum works in this collection. All of the used fibers are natural and have been dyed with herbal colors and in a natural method in this rug.
