First part of the meeting
First, Mr. Abolfazl Rajabian and Mr. Javad Kazemi, producers of handwoven carpets in Qom and members of the Chamber of Commerce of Qom Province, attended the meeting and expressed their readiness for any cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and the handwoven carpet guild, and announced the Chamber of Commerce’s future plans for the development of Persian handwoven carpets
Mr. Reza Ermi also emphasized the continuation of meetings and follow-up on matters to implement the presented materials, and also considered it important to use the current infrastructure of the Iran-Ghuereh complex
Mr. Mohammad Reza Rashtizadeh stated that the union and the association need budget to carry out many tasks in order to progress in the handwoven carpet market. Therefore, it is better to propose ways to finance the association. Among the ways that can be used are as follows
1- Offering handwoven carpets in cyberspace in the form of a dedicated site for selling handwoven carpets and introducing their artists
2- Announcing the price of handwoven carpets transparently on the site and available to all handwoven carpet audiences
3- Creating a fund in the association and considering the profits from online sales in this fund
To do this, since the Iran Guereh collection has already provided the infrastructure for presenting handwoven carpets and introducing Persian handwoven carpet artists on a dedicated platform, this infrastructure can be used in the form of a contract between the association and the Iran Guereh company so that the carpets of the association members can be displayed in the virtual gallery. In the future, the association will pay the company's expenses when it reaches a significant amount of profit. In addition to preventing the auction of handwoven carpets, this method plays a fundamental role in financing the association's fund
